SUITABLE FOR
PraveBio.cz recommends pairing it with:
- Mosimix Citrus-Scented Body Oil (Odylique)
Complementary body care that leaves skin feeling supple with a fresh citrus scent. - Glow-enhancing body care
Explore complementary body care for an immediate luminous finish while the self-tan develops gradually. - Brightening Moisturiser for Men with Astaxanthin (Nibu Naturals)
A lightweight moisturiser for men’s skin that can be applied after the tanning serum has fully absorbed. - Zinc Complex with Buffered Vitamin C (Naturtreu)
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails.
A self-tan develops in the outermost layer of the skin. Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) reacts with amino acids there, while date palm melanin complements the warm colour profile. This is not a UV-induced tan, so the serum provides no sun protection.
In a user trial involving 20 people, 15 of whom described their skin as sensitive, 100% reported a streak-free result and found the serum non-irritating. 75% said their skin felt hydrated without an additional moisturiser. Individual results may vary depending on skin type, preparation and application.

How to apply the serum for an even result
1. Prepare the skin
Apply to a cleansed face, neck and décolletage. On dry or uneven skin, gentle exfoliation before use may help the result appear more even.
2. Apply a few drops
Apply the serum evenly, paying particular attention to the hairline, brows, sides of the nose and jawline. Use it alone, after moisturiser, or mix it with your moisturiser.
3. Build the colour gradually
Assess the result before reapplying. For a deeper tone, repeat the application no sooner than 24 hours later, then refresh the colour every few days as needed.
After application
Allow the serum to absorb fully and wash your hands thoroughly. For external use only; avoid the eyes and mucous membranes.

What role does date palm melanin play?
The manufacturer describes date palm melanin as antioxidant-rich. In the formula, it complements dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and contributes to the warm bronze profile of the resulting shade.

How should I apply the self-tanning serum to my face, neck and décolletage?
After cleansing, apply a few drops evenly to the face, neck and décolletage and gently massage until fully absorbed. Pay particular attention to the hairline, eyebrows and jawline. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.

Can I mix the self-tanning serum with moisturiser?
Yes. Use the serum alone, apply it after moisturiser, or mix a few drops into your moisturiser. Mixing it with moisturiser is a good option when you prefer a subtler, more gradual result.

Can I wear the self-tanning serum under make-up?

The Odylique brand - the name is derived from the meaning "the power of nature" - was born in 2003 and was originally called Essential Care. The whole story began in the 1980s when the main founder, Margaret, started making natural skincare products. Conventional products did not agree with her allergic and sensitive skin at all. She felt there had to be a healthier and more effective way to care for her skin than using petroleum-based ingredients and artificial ingredients. She received her training in herbal medicine and aromatherapy to begin creating truly effective products based only on organic herbs, plant oils and natural active ingredients that would be compatible with the most sensitive skin. In the 1980s she was one of, if not the first, of the early pioneers of organic and natural cosmetics in the UK. In 2003, she officially founded The Essential Care with her husband and daughter, which was renamed Odylique in later years. Since the beginning, its products have won awards in prestigious competitions in the UK, and the product portfolio has grown to include decorative cosmetics for the most sensitive users.
Odylique wants all the ingredients inside their products to have therapeutic value, while you enjoy an unforgettable ritual in your daily skin and body care.
The Odylique brand is the expert for sensitive and allergic skin and we are honoured to be able to offer it to you, as it is the best certified organic quality at absolutely unbeatable prices you can get. A nice bonus is that all their plastic packaging is made from recycled plastic milk jugs - British sourced, and 98% of the packaging material is sourced from Europe to minimise their carbon footprint. Almost half of the product containers and all the boxes are made in the UK.
