The cream offers tested broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection against UVA and UVB rays. The caring base consists of sunflower and jojoba oil, cocoa butter, light shea butter esters, and plant extracts of sea buckthorn, calendula, chamomile, and rosemary.

 

It contains no synthetic UV filters, preservatives, silicones, fragrances, or dyes. It works immediately upon application, spreads well, does not leave a noticeable white film, and is not greasy. Detailed application and protection instructions can be found below.

Application

For the correct level of protection, apply a sufficient amount of product to dry exposed skin before sun exposure and spread it evenly. Applying too thin a layer reduces the actual level of protection.

Face: Apply an even layer to the face and neck. Use clean, dry fingers; as it is a waterless cream, it is advisable to prevent water from entering the jar. Dry skin usually tolerates a more nourishing layer, while oily or combination skin should apply a smaller amount and possibly top up the layer after a while.

TIP - after absorption, you can use mineral powder or concealer for a matte finish.

Body: Generously apply to all exposed areas, including ears, neck, insteps, and backs of hands. Adjust the amount to the skin area; insufficient quantity means lower protection than the SPF stated on the packaging.

Sun exposure time: SPF 30 can, under ideal conditions, extend the time to skin reddening, but it does not replace repeated application. Always reapply the cream after swimming, showering, towel drying, sweating, or rubbing. Direct contact may leave marks on light clothing. Do not stay in the sun longer just because you are using sunscreen, and limit exposure to the strongest sun, especially at noon.

ZINC OXIDE - mineral UV filter in non-nano form. In the sunscreen, it forms the main protective component SPF 30 and helps create a continuous mineral layer on the skin surface, contributing to protection against UVA and UVB rays.

 

In European cosmetics, zinc oxide is among the permitted UV filters. In this formula, it is used in a concentration of 20% mineral component and is embedded in a waterless oil-wax base, which aids its even distribution over the skin.

 

SHEA BUTTER ESTERS - a light emollient component derived from shea butter, listed in INCI as Shea butter ethyl esters. It is not raw unrefined shea butter but a modified cosmetic ingredient that improves the feel during application.

 

In mineral SPF, it helps to reduce the heavy, greasy impression that can be more pronounced in purely oil or wax formulations. It also contributes to smoother spreading and better integration into the skin.

 

SILICA - silica adjusts texture, viscosity, and the final finish on the skin. In the oil-mineral formula, it helps balance the oilier character of oils and butters, so the cream does not feel unnecessarily heavy after application.

 

In cosmetics, it is used, among other things, as an absorbent and texturizing component. In this sunscreen, it contributes to more pleasant spreading, smoother distribution, and a less greasy feel after application.

 

SUNFLOWER OIL - organic sunflower oil high in oleic acid forms the main caring oil base of the formula. It helps to spread the cream evenly.

 

In the waterless mineral SPF, it also has a technological function: it connects zinc oxide, waxes, butters, and other oil components into a consistent texture. This helps the product form a more continuous protective layer.

 

CANDELILLA WAX - plant wax obtained from the Euphorbia cerifera plant. In the formula, it helps to solidify the waterless structure of the cream.

 

Together with carnauba wax, it supports the cohesion of the formula. This function is related to texture and application, not to water resistance declaration.

 

JOJOBA OIL - organic jojoba oil is a light caring component with good compatibility in cosmetic formulations. It improves glide, softness, and comfort during spreading without the need to add fragrance.

It forms a gentle film and, together with candelilla wax, improves the adhesion of the cream after application. This does not mean water resistance; after swimming, towel drying, sweating, or rubbing, the cream needs to be reapplied.

 

SEA BUCKTHORN AND CALENDULA - organic plant extracts complement the oil-mineral base with caring plant components. In the sunscreen formula, they have a supportive cosmetic role alongside the main UV filter, which is zinc oxide.

 

Sea buckthorn is valued in cosmetics for its naturally rich plant profile, calendula is traditionally used in gentle skin care. They are part of the caring base, not as ingredients with therapeutic effects.

 

CHAMOMILE - organic chamomile extract complements the formula designed for sensitive skin with daily use on the face and body. In combination with calendula, sea buckthorn, and rosemary, it expands the plant part of the composition.

 

Its role is cosmetic and supportive: it helps to create a gentler character of the formula without fragrances, dyes, and synthetic UV filters. The main protection against UV radiation is provided by non-nano zinc oxide.

 

ROSEMARY - organic rosemary extract has an antioxidant function in cosmetic formulations. In the oil formula, it helps protect plant oils and butters from oxidation and supports the stability of the composition.

 

In this product, it is not the main caring or protective ingredient against UV radiation. Its significance lies primarily in supplementing the plant profile and in the technological support of the oil part of the composition.

 

COCOA BUTTER AND FRACTIONATED COCONUT OIL - organic cocoa butter gives the formula a more nourishing, balm-like character, while fractionated coconut oil improves spreadability and a smooth feel after application.

POLYHYDROXYSTEARIC ACID - a dispersing component that helps evenly distribute zinc oxide in the oil base. In mineral SPF, it is important for smoother application and a more consistent layer on the skin.

 

It improves spreadability and helps reduce uneven white marks. It is not a main caring ingredient on its own, but it plays a technologically significant role for stability, distribution of the mineral filter, and a lighter user experience.
