Omega 3 Acids with vit. D3 - Essent+ Premium 1 dose: 600 mg DHA, 1,080 mg EPA and 20 mcg vitamin D3 - 60 capsules
Natural dietary supplement, fish oil, in gelatin capsules ensuring the balance of polyphenols and omega acids. It is rich in polyphenols from olives, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin D3. Suitable for those who do not like fish oil in liquid form or travel frequently.
The Essent+ Premium dietary supplement from the brand Zinzino is suitable for everyone who, for some reason, does not want to take oil and prefers to take their daily dose of omega 3 fatty acids in capsules.
3 softgel capsules contain 600 mg DHA, 1,080 mg EPA, and 20 mcg vitamin D3. The product helps protect cells from oxidative damage and safely adjusts the imbalance between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in the body.
An imbalance between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids is associated with a range of health issues. The correct ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 is particularly important during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as the demands on the development of the child's brain and nervous system require a higher intake of omega-6 and omega-3, naturally in a balanced ratio.
Nowadays, the nutritional value of food is decreasing, and our current diet contains up to 15 times more pro-inflammatory omega 6 from grains and some vegetable oils. The general recommendation is that the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in the diet should be less than 5:1. Ideally, however, 3:1. This is really hard to achieve today, even with healthy and varied eating. Therefore, it is appropriate to supplement omega 3 to balance the ratio.
You can easily find out your omega-3 and omega-6 ratio with a simple test from the comfort of your home.
BALANCE OF OMEGA-3 AND OMEGA-6 FATTY ACIDS SUPPORTS:
- mental health
- nerve functions
- healthy heart
- circulatory system
- stomach, intestines, lungs, and skin
- increases cognitive performance
PROBLEMS RELATED TO IMBALANCE OF OMEGA 3 AND OMEGA 6:
- poor permeability and absorption of nutrients
- insufficient metabolism, weakened detoxification processes
- development of chronic inflammation in the body
- learning difficulties, impaired memory
- mood swings
- osteoporosis
- osteoarthritis
- arthritis
- high blood pressure, atherosclerosis – hardening of the arteries, varicose veins, haemorrhoids)
- neurodegenerative diseases: Alzheimer's, Parkinson's
- tissue damage (tumour cells, metastases, cancer)

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Fish oil
Zinzino uses only oils extracted from whole, unprocessed fish in its products. Primarily, small, short-lived wild fish species such as anchovies or sardines are used for this purpose. The fish oil for Zinzino is produced by LYSI, which has a certified quality system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, GMP/API, and BRC Global standard for food safety. Its certification ensures the absence of heavy metals and other toxins. LYSI is also a member of Friends of the Sea for sustainable fishing.
Extra virgin olive oil
Zinzino uses hand-picked olives from the special Spanish Picual variety for its olive oil production, which is characterized by a high content of omega-9 acid and also has a high content of antioxidant polyphenols. Polyphenols ensure protection against oxidation not only of the product itself but also of the cells in your body. Most omega 3 products use vitamin E as protection against oxidation before consumption. The problem is that the product usually oxidizes only after consumption in the body. Therefore, in addition to vitamin E, Zinzino has enriched its products with polyphenols from virgin oil.
Vitamin D3
Essent is enriched with natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), which is made from lanolin (sheep wool fat).

Zinzino is a Norwegian company that has been on the market since 2005. In 2012, Zinzino acquired a 6% stake in the Norwegian company BioActive Foods AS and obtained the exclusive right to market its products and concepts. This was the beginning of a new era and Zinzino began to focus on health and body care. The concept of Zinzino Balance was born. In 2014, Zinzino acquired an 85% stake in Faun Pharma AS, a Norwegian company with a fully equipped, modern manufacturing facility and valuable experience in the development of health products, dietary supplements and cosmetics. It was a brand new facility where Zinzino began to research, develop and manufacture new products - efficiently and with high quality. In the same year, Zinzino bought out BioActive Foods and became the sole owner with a 100% stake. The deal has enabled us to better manage the development and growth of the Zinzino Balance concept.
Zinzino provides best-in-class, state-of-the-art and customized nutritional supplements as well as skin care products. The name of the brand was created during brainstorming when the company was founded. The founders liked that the word "Zinzino" doesn't carry any meaning yet, so the company itself can supply it. They specialize mainly in dietary supplements with omega-3 (EPA and DHA) fatty acids. They are based on the findings of a new scientific discipline - pharmaconutritional nutrition, which, unlike the current way of dealing with health problems, does not just suppress symptoms, but seeks to support the body's natural protective, defensive and regenerative processes. Their products are backed by a team of scientific experts and test-backed results. This is what makes this brand unique - before taking the supplements you can do the so-called "supplementation". Balance test to find out what ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 you have in your cells.
Why is a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 so important?
Omega-3 long-chain fatty acids is the collective name for a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA). Omega-3 fatty acids cannot be produced by the human body on its own, so they must be supplied as part of the diet. However, supplementing essential omega 3 (EPA, DHA) in the right ratio - omega 6 : omega 3 (3:1) is almost impossible nowadays due to the lack of fresh fatty fish intake and the increasing consumption of industrially processed foods. For this reason, 95% of Europeans fail to get to a 3:1 ratio of omega3 to omega6 with diet alone. To balance this imbalance, it is advisable to supplement with Omega 3.
An imbalance of omega 6 and omega 3 affects the body and mind. Their balanced ratio is important for many body processes and functions. From brain function to muscle function, protection from oxidative stress to normal blood pressure and much more. We do get omega 3 from fish, but unfortunately not from the ones you buy in the store. The fish themselves get their Omega 3 from eating seaweed and most fish on the market, such as salmon, come from closed farms where they are fed compound feed. Therefore, they don't have any Omega 3 in their body.
Composition of the highest quality
Zinzino's products are based on a blend of fish oil (from whole, unprocessed, mainly wild, short-lived species of small fish such as anchovies and sardines), rich in omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) and extra virgin olive oil from a special Spanish variety of Picual, which is highly rich in polyphenols and other beneficial substances. However, vegans can also choose from their products - the range also includes BalanceOil+ made from olive oil and seaweed.
The industry that manufactures dietary supplements with Omega 3 protects these fatty acids by artificially adding vitamin E as a preservative. However, it has been shown that vitamin E does not sufficiently prevent the oxidation of Omega 3 fatty acids during absorption, but can become a pro-oxidant under certain circumstances, rendering these supplements non-functional or even potentially harmful to the body! Therefore, we recommend that every consumer of Omega 3 dietary supplements verify their effectiveness with the BalanceTest. If the test shows a deficiency of Omega-3 fatty acids in cell membranes, it is up to everyone to consider whether it makes sense to consume such a dysfunctional dietary supplement.
