Antioxidants

Antioxidants are substances that help protect cells from oxidative stress. They protect cells from the action of free radicals by binding to them and neutralizing their activity. Antioxidants include some vitamins (C, E and A) or minerals (selenium and zinc). The strongest and best natural antioxidants include carotenoids (plant dyes and precursors of vitamin A), resveratrol, coenzyme Q10 and astaxanthin. Thanks to their anti-aging effects, antioxidants are also a big concept in skin care.
