FAQ
Is the soap suitable for teenage acne-prone skin?
Yes. Activated charcoal effectively cleanses pores and helps remove excess sebum and bacteria that cause acne. Cedar oil also soothes irritation and acts antibacterially.

Does the soap dry out the skin with daily use?
No. The formula is balanced thanks to the combination of extra virgin olive oil, shea butter, and plant oils, which protect the skin barrier and prevent drying.

Are Soaperb soaps suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. All formulas do not contain parabens, petrolatum, microplastics, phthalates, silicones, or sulfates – substances that most often irritate sensitive skin. Instead of synthetics, they use only natural plant ingredients, making them gentle on all skin types, including problematic or eczema-prone.

Are the products vegan and cruelty-free?
All formulas are vegetarian and the vast majority – except for two mini-soaps with honey (Agora Propolis & Bitter Almond) – also vegan. Soaperb adheres to the Cruelty Free status, tests only on themselves, and does not test any ingredients or final products on animals.

How long do the soaps cure and why is it important?
Each batch is handmade using the cold process and then cures for 6 – 8 weeks. During this time, the soap matures, hardens, and full saponification of the oils occurs, so it lasts longer, dissolves less, and retains the maximum nutrients from the oils and butters.

How does Soaperb differ from regular drugstore soaps?
The base consists of Greek extra virgin olive oil complemented by coconut, sesame, almond, avocado, or shea butter. Instead of water, herbal infusions from Greek herbs are added and scented only with essential oils. At the same time, the brand has excluded all synthetic fragrances, preservatives, and dyes – resulting in 100% natural, functional, and fragrant soap blocks.

The story behind the Soaperb brand
Soaperb was founded in 2018 in Thessaloniki by Stella Grammatikopoulou. Wanting to share her love of natural soaps with others, she started producing small batches and offering them to her friends and family. She soon realised she had convinced them all to give up their plastic shampoo bottles and replace them with these fragrant soap bars. As an architect, she began sketching her first paper wrappers by hand, which later became the packaging of the Agora soap.
Guided by this passion, she developed facial and body care lines, formulated new recipes and designed packaging for her Soaperb brand. Her vision was, and still is, the same: a bar of soap with an uplifting scent that brings calm, balance and a sense of wellbeing.
Sustainability & social responsibility
From the very beginning, Soaperb has placed strong emphasis on sustainability – the products are made in small batches and the packaging is completely plastic-free, using only paper.
The formulations contain exclusively naturally derived ingredients and are free from palm oil, parabens, microplastics, silicones and synthetic fragrances.
Social responsibility is also central to the brand: the products are not tested on animals – “we test our products on us, not on animals” – Soaperb is cruelty-free and supports ethical, transparent supply chains.

The power of natural soap formulation and production
Greece is home to some of the finest extra virgin olive oils, which form the basis of these natural soaps.
Drawing on the richness of Greek nature, Soaperb selects unique herbs and flowers for its formulas, creating a sustainable face and body care line that reflects simple Greek luxury.
Ingredients such as organic olive oil from Chalkidiki, Greek forest honey from Chalkidiki, almond oil from Imathia and essential oils from the Vermio, Pieria and Pelion mountains support an uncompromisingly natural formulation – 100% of the ingredients are of natural origin.

Which product lines does Soaperb offer?
Agora soaps
The nourishing botanical “Agora” line features rich organic extra virgin olive oil from Chalkidiki, propolis, honey and essential oils from Greek forests.
Soaperb soaps
The exclusive “Soaperb” cosmetic line is specifically designed for the face and body and addresses the needs of dry, oily, normal, sensitive and mature skin.
Its formulations are enriched with coconut oil, sesame oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, avocado oil, botanical extracts, clays, charcoal and essential oils.
Instead of water, it uses herbal tisanes made from Greek herbs, which support visible improvements in skin hydration.
Why choose natural soap
Many people are used to mass-produced soaps, which often lack the gentleness and quality of a truly natural alternative. When compared to a conventional glycerin soap, the differences are significant.
Natural soap is made from pure plant oils, herbs, essential oils and other natural ingredients – without synthetic chemicals, colourants or preservatives. As a result, it is kinder to the skin and the environment, often has hypoallergenic properties and is suitable for sensitive skin.
These soaps frequently contain essential oils with aromatherapeutic benefits, are produced by hand in small batches and are formulated to nourish the skin rather than irritate it. In contrast, many commercial products contain synthetic fragrances, colourants and preservatives that burden the skin.

Benefits of using natural ingredients in soaps

Soaperb’s commitment to sustainability
At Soaperb, just as much care goes into the formulations as into their impact on the environment. Some of the measures they take include:
- Packaging – They avoid unnecessary packaging. Only paper is used for product wrapping and plastics are avoided in shipping.
- Production – Soaps are made in small batches. This approach makes it possible to produce only what is truly needed and helps reduce waste.
- Product formulation – They use only ingredients of natural origin, helping to minimise the impact on the planet. The recipes are free from parabens, silicones, sulphates and palm oil.
- Palm oil consumption – They do not support excessive palm oil consumption, which contributes to environmental crises, deforestation and loss of biodiversity.
This approach is fundamental to Soaperb — soap is one of the most sustainable products of all, as its use creates no packaging waste or residue. Sustainability has been embedded in the brand’s DNA from day one.
Soaperb’s mission is to create handmade soaps from 100% natural ingredients that foster self-love, balance and harmony with nature.
