How long do the soaps cure and why is it important?

Each batch is handmade using the cold process method and then cures for 6 – 8 weeks. During this time, the soap matures, hardens, and full saponification of the oils occurs, so it lasts longer, dissolves less, and retains the maximum nutrients from the oils and butters.

The base consists of Greek extra virgin olive oil complemented by coconut, sesame, almond, avocado, or shea butter.
