Why it’s Pravé Bio

The capsule is animal-derived, too. Freeze-dried organ powder goes into bovine gelatine capsules, in keeping with Jeroen’s preference for animal foods. Each blend names its organs and gives their proportions.

Start is Modern Native’s introduction to organ supplements: a five-organ blend, with extra liver in a separate jar. The blend gives you several types of organ; the liver jar increases its share of the combined dose. Choose it for a broader organ selection with an emphasis on liver.

Five-Organ Blend
Freeze-dried beef liver (20%), heart (20%), kidney (20%), spleen (20%) and pancreas (20%). Capsule shell: bovine gelatine.

Each jar contains 180 capsules, with 500 mg of organ powder per capsule. There are 360 capsules in total. All ingredient percentages refer to the organ powder, excluding the capsule shell.
How to Use
Modern Native recommends six capsules a day in total: three blend capsules and three liver capsules. Swallow with water. Both jars last 60 days at this dose. For either product taken separately, follow its own label.

The First Sale: 2021

Meet the Founder and Your Distributor
Jeroen Blokzijl, Founder of Modern Native
- A Change in Diet. After years of intensive training, Jeroen turned to animal foods, including organ meat. In his own account, that change in diet inspired him to develop organ capsules.
- A Nose-to-Tail Approach. Jeroen favours whole food ingredients over isolated synthetic nutrients. Nose-to-tail eating includes organs as well as muscle meat — a preference reflected in both the powders and the bovine gelatine capsules.
- His First Supplier. Jeroen began working with Robert at Vlees van Ons in 2020. The first products went on sale in November 2021; Zorg & Natuur became a partner in 2022.

FAQs
Why add liver when the blend already contains it?
The separate jar increases the proportion of liver. With 3 mix capsules and 3 liver capsules, liver accounts for 60% of the organ powder; in the blend alone it is 20%.
How is Start different from Stamina and Power?
Start contains the five-organ blend and liver. Stamina contains liver, lung with liver and heart with liver. If you also want beef testicle with liver alongside the two Start products, choose the three-jar Power Bundle. Each bundle saves 10% on its own components’ regular retail prices.
How long will the bundle last?
At 3 capsules from each jar daily, both jars last 60 days. There are 360 capsules in total.
Do I have to take both products together?
Each jar is a separate food supplement. The 3 + 3 split is the maker’s suggestion for this bundle. For individual use, follow the label on the relevant jar.
Why does the bundle cost less?
The bundle price is exactly 10% below the sum of the regular retail prices of the same two jars purchased individually.
What do grass-fed and freeze-dried mean?
Grass-fed refers to the cattle’s diet. Freeze-drying removes water from frozen ingredients. Neither term is an organic certification.

Our ancestors lived differently from us. Traditional societies have been eating organ meat for centuries. They did it for a reason. Intuitively, they knew it was good for them. They knew that organ meats were the source of the most important nutrients. Similarly, in nature many predators go after organ meat first and muscle meat second.
We hardly eat organs these days. It's an ancient tradition that has faded away. Modern Native's mission is to bring the wisdom of our ancestors back to the modern world for optimal health, strength and happiness.
There is no organ meat like meat
Not all organs are the same. When looking for quality (organ) meat, it is important to check several points:
- 100% grass-fed cattle
- Without hormones
- Pesticide and GMO free
- Animals live stress-free and completely in the wild
The term "grass-fed" doesn't tell the whole story. The cow may be partially outside in the summer eating fresh grass, while most of the time she is in the barn and fed concentrate. 100% grass-fed, that's the Modern Native way of doing things. They only work with farmers whose cattle meet the above points. The organs are obtained from cattle in the Netherlands.
Why local cattle?
- It maintains the health of local natural farmers and creates jobs in the industry, thus creating more natural farmers in the Netherlands.
- Where there is more demand, there will be more supply. This will eventually allow the price of quality meat, including organ meat, to fall.
- More local natural farmers means fewer traditional herds (mass production) and happier cattle.
- Money spent on local farms stays in the economy, which has a domino effect and creates more jobs.
- Shorter distribution chains reduce unnecessary transport.
- When there are more natural livestock, healthier soil is created.
- Naturally grazing cattle return nutrients to the soil through the urine and manure they excrete.

Why eat organ meat?
Beloved by our ancestors
Traditional peoples, Native Americans, and ancient ancestors believed that consuming the organs of a healthy animal would promote the health of the individual's organ. They ate "from head to tail", i.e. everything from the animal, because they intuitively knew how nutritionally rich the meat from the organs was.
