- Use clean, dry fingers to avoid introducing water into the waterless balm.
- Reapply regularly and always after swimming, showering, heavy perspiration, towelling or rubbing.
- Remember the ears, back of the neck, shoulders, tops of the feet, backs of the hands and backs of the legs.

No sunscreen provides complete protection from UV radiation. Do not stay in the sun longer simply because you are wearing SPF. Seek shade between 10 am and 3 pm and use a hat, sunglasses and light clothing as additional protection. Babies and young children should be protected from the sun primarily with shade and suitable clothing.

The Odylique brand - the name is derived from the meaning "the power of nature" - was born in 2003 and was originally called Essential Care. The whole story began in the 1980s when the main founder, Margaret, started making natural skincare products. Conventional products did not agree with her allergic and sensitive skin at all. She felt there had to be a healthier and more effective way to care for her skin than using petroleum-based ingredients and artificial ingredients. In 2003, she officially founded The Essential Care with her husband and daughter, which was renamed Odylique in later years.
