Why we selected Bee&You for PraveBio.cz
Bee&You specialises in the expert processing of bee products, with a strong focus on origin, traceability and quality control. At the heart of the brand is its Anatolian propolis extract A.P.E.®, in-house product development and a patented extraction method led by Dr Asli Samanci, a food engineer specialising in bee products.
- Contract beekeeping enables the origin of the propolis to be traced from partner beekeepers through to the finished extract.
- Batch testing and standardisation account for the natural differences caused by location, season and the botanical origin of the propolis.
- In its own research and development centre, the brand monitors selected quality parameters, including phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity.
- Product development involves specialists in food science, pharmacology, chemistry, biology and beekeeping, as well as collaboration with universities.
- Production follows internationally recognised standards, including GMP, BRC, IFS and ISO.
The result is an Anatolian propolis extract with traceable origins, controlled processing and clearly monitored quality parameters. PraveBio.cz is the exclusive importer of Bee&You in the Czech Republic.
Chewable tablets with bee pollen, Anatolian propolis A.P.E.® and royal jelly
Bee&You chewable tablets with bee pollen, Anatolian propolis extract A.P.E.® and royal jelly combine three distinct bee-derived ingredients in a precisely measured food supplement format that requires no water. Carob and cocoa create a naturally mellow, cocoa-led flavour.
Each 500 mg tablet contains 150 mg of bee pollen, 90 mg of propolis extract A.P.E.® and 60 mg of royal jelly. According to the manufacturer’s conversion, these amounts correspond to 180 mg of raw propolis and 210 mg of fresh royal jelly.
Bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly are three separate ingredients and should not be treated as interchangeable. Bee pollen is not bee bread, royal jelly is not honey, and the amount of finished propolis extract is not the same as the quantity of raw propolis used before extraction.
The pack contains 60 chewable tablets / 30 g, providing approximately 30 days’ use at 2 tablets daily. The manufacturer declares the formula to be free from gluten, soya, dairy ingredients, GMOs, artificial preservatives, colours and artificial sweeteners; carob does, however, naturally contain sugars.
Who is this product designed for?
For adults and children aged 3 years and over who can safely chew and swallow a tablet and want bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly in one product. Those looking for a high standalone amount of propolis, royal jelly or bee bread may be better served by a single-ingredient product.
No specific health claims are authorised in the European Union for propolis, bee pollen or royal jelly. We therefore describe this product through verifiable information about its ingredients, quantities, origin and processing.
PraveBio.cz is the exclusive importer of Bee&You in the Czech Republic. We check the information against the product label and the latest documentation supplied for this formula.

What are bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly?
Bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly are three distinct bee-derived ingredients. Bee pollen comes from flower pollen collected by bees, propolis is made from plant resins processed by bees, and royal jelly is produced by young worker bees in specialised glands. Each ingredient should therefore be listed separately and in a clearly stated amount.
1. Bee pollen
Pollen grains collected from flowers are moistened with nectar and bee secretions, then carried back to the hive as compact pollen pellets.
2. Bee pollen is not bee bread
Bee pollen is collected before it is stored in the comb. Bee bread, also known as perga, is pollen placed in honeycomb cells, where it continues to mature naturally.
3. Royal jelly
A secretion produced by glands in young worker bees, used to feed larvae and the queen throughout her life. It is not a type of honey.
4. Propolis
A mixture of plant resins, wax and bee secretions. Raw propolis is further processed by extraction before it can be used in a food supplement.
Is bee pollen the same as airborne pollen?
It originates as plant pollen, but bee pollen has been collected and formed by bees into pollen pellets. This processing does not make it allergen-free.
Is royal jelly a type of honey?
No. Honey is made from nectar or honeydew, whereas royal jelly is produced by glands in young worker bees.
Is A.P.E.® extract the same as raw propolis?
No. Each tablet contains 90 mg of finished A.P.E.® extract. The 180 mg figure is the manufacturer’s stated raw propolis equivalent before extraction.
How Bee&You sources and controls bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis
Bee&You describes a contract-beekeeping system that connects beekeepers, registered hives, ingredient harvesting and processing at its own production facility. The following steps summarise the brand’s publicly stated process. The precise amounts used in these tablets are taken from the product label.
1. Contract beekeeping and hive-site standards
According to Bee&You’s published materials, apiary sites are assessed before a partnership begins. Hives should be located away from industrial facilities, waste sites, busy roads and areas where pesticides are used, and close to clean water sources. Contract beekeepers undertake not to feed bees sugar or sugar derivatives. The brand supplies equipment for collecting bee products, purchases the agreed harvest and records ingredient provenance from beekeeper to production facility.
2. Collecting bee pollen
Bees gather pollen grains from flowers, moisten them with nectar and their own secretions, and carry them back to the hive as pollen pellets. Bee&You states that its pollen originates in the mountainous regions of Anatolia and is processed without heating. The label for these tablets does not, however, specify the exact stabilisation method used for the pollen in each batch, so we do not infer one.
3. Harvesting royal jelly
Bee&You describes controlled royal jelly production using frames fitted with queen-cell cups into which young larvae are grafted. Worker bees fill the cells with royal jelly, which is then collected, primarily during spring and summer. The brand reports a yield of approximately 20–25 g per hive per month. A peer-reviewed study involving the Bee&You Propolis R&D Center analysed 176 royal jelly samples for parameters including 10-HDA, moisture, pH and acidity; it was not an analysis of this finished product.
4. Anatolian propolis and patented extraction
Contract beekeepers collect propolis made by bees from resins found on plant buds, leaves and stems, then send the properly packaged raw material to Bee&You’s facility. During extraction, wax and other insoluble components are separated from the propolis to obtain a concentrated propolis fraction. Bee&You carries out this step using its own patented method to produce Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®; the complete technical parameters of the patented process are not publicly disclosed.
5. Standardising the propolis extract
Bee&You states that its R&D centre combines propolis extracts from different parts of Anatolia and standardises them using measurements of phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity. The aim is to reduce natural batch-to-batch variation and maintain the monitored parameters of A.P.E.® despite differences in location, season and botanical origin. The same parameters were examined in a peer-reviewed study of 23 Turkish propolis samples co-authored by researchers from the Bee&You Propolis R&D Center.
6. Laboratory and three-stage control
The brand describes controls at three stages: on receipt of bee-derived ingredients, during processing and on the finished product. Its materials refer to purity testing, selected antioxidant and microbiological parameters, and compliance with food-safety requirements. The precise scope of analysis may vary by ingredient, product and batch.
What is specific to this formula
The product label declares 150 mg of bee pollen, 90 mg of Anatolian propolis extract A.P.E.® and 60 mg of royal jelly per tablet. The manufacturer also provides equivalents of 180 mg of raw propolis and 210 mg of fresh royal jelly. These equivalents describe the quantity of the starting material and should not be added to the actual amount of extract or the form of royal jelly used.
Bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly: a clear comparison
All three ingredients are listed separately in the formula. The actual amount of each ingredient is the most useful figure when comparing products; raw or fresh equivalents provide supporting context only.
| Ingredient | How it is produced | Typical formats | Role in this product |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bee pollen | Pollen grains collected by bees and carried back to the hive as pollen pellets | Granules, powder, capsules or tablets | 150 mg / 30%; the most abundant bee-derived ingredient |

| Royal jelly | A secretion produced by glands in young worker bees | Fresh, stabilised, dried or blended into formulas | 60 mg / 12%; equivalent to 210 mg of fresh royal jelly |
How to compare a combined bee product from its label
The words “pollen, propolis and royal jelly” alone reveal neither the dose nor how any equivalents have been calculated. When comparing products, focus on the following information.
The actual amount of each ingredient
Compare the milligrams of bee pollen, finished propolis extract and royal jelly per tablet and per recommended daily serving.Extract versus raw propolis
Distinguish the amount of finished extract from the equivalent quantity of the original raw material. The two figures must not be added together.Fresh royal jelly equivalent
The conversion helps describe concentration, but it does not replace the declared amount of the ingredient actually used.Origin and traceability
For naturally variable bee products, it is useful to know the country of origin, how the producer works with beekeepers and how ingredients are controlled. The complete ingredient list
Carob and cocoa account for 40% of this formula. Consider flavouring ingredients, naturally occurring sugars, sweeteners, flavourings and allergens as well.Batch and production controls
Checks on raw materials, intermediate products and the finished formula support traceability, but do not in themselves constitute a health claim. What matters in this formula
Each tablet declares 150 mg of bee pollen, 90 mg of propolis extract A.P.E.® and 60 mg of royal jelly. The chewable format requires no measuring or water, while carob and cocoa form the flavour base.

How to read ingredient amounts and equivalents
The actual amount per tablet is the figure that allows products to be compared directly: 150 mg of bee pollen, 90 mg of propolis extract and 60 mg of royal jelly.
The raw propolis equivalent describes the quantity of starting material from which the manufacturer derives 90 mg of finished extract. It does not mean that the tablet contains an additional 180 mg of propolis.
The fresh royal jelly equivalent converts the form used back to fresh material. The tablet declares 60 mg of the royal jelly ingredient used, not the sum of both figures.
Carob and cocoa account for 40% of the formula and determine its flavour. No specific health claims are authorised in the EU for propolis, bee pollen or royal jelly.
Important information before use

What is propolis and what are its benefits
Propolis is a natural resinous substance that bees collect from the buds, leaves and stems of plants. Due to its sticky consistency and antimicrobial properties, they use it to protect their hive from pathogens.
The bees cover the walls of the hive with a layer of propolis, sterilizing the cells of the honeycomb and creating an ideal environment for the queen to lay her eggs.
Propolis also serves as a natural preservative - it protects honey, royal jelly and pollen from microorganisms in the hive.
The name "propolis" comes from Greek and means "before the city", symbolizing its role as the first line of defense of the bee colony.
Propolis is a rich source of bioactive substances, especially flavonoids, phenolic acids and terpenes, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.
These compounds can help fight free radicals, support the immune system and protect the body from infections. Studies show that propolis can be effective in treating fungal infections such as athlete's foot, for example, and its regular use can contribute to respiratory, skin and oral health.
However, in order for the human body to fully utilize its potential, it is necessary to extract the raw propolis using alcohol or other solvents, which increases its bioavailability and allows the release of the active ingredients.
BEE&YOU certification and quality
BEE&YOU places great emphasis on the quality and authenticity of its products, as evidenced by a strict four-stage inspection system. First, a preliminary analysis of raw material samples from contract beekeepers is carried out to ensure that they meet the required standards. The raw materials are then subjected to further testing in laboratories.
After processing on the production line, the semi-finished products are analysed before filling. Finished products, such as tablets, drops, sprays, syrups and cosmetic products, then undergo rigorous testing in laboratories right in our 10,700 m² production hall.
Finally, the products are independently tested by accredited laboratories and universities, ensuring their high quality. In the latest audit by the independent German organisation DQS CFS GmbH, the brand scored an impressive 98.06 points out of 100 in the IFS Food assessment and was awarded the prestigious BRC AA+ certificate.
BEE&YOU products are certified to local and international standards including GMP, BRC, IFS, SEDEX, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, Kosher, Cosmos and Organic. These certifications cover food, dietary supplements and cosmetics. Thanks to these standards and rigorous quality management, the brand guarantees that each product not only delivers natural values, but also meets the highest safety and quality requirements.
The natural wealth of bee products and the uniqueness of Anatolian propolis

Ingredients used by BEE&YOU
BEE&YOU products are based on natural bee products that are known for their extraordinary health benefits.
Key ingredients include propolis, royal jelly, honey and pollen. Propolis is rich in phenolic compounds and flavonoids that support the immune system and have antioxidant and antimicrobial effects.
Royal jelly contains high amounts of protein, vitamins and essential amino acids, making it a nutritional treasure.
Apart from its delicious taste, honey brings energy to the body, supports digestion and has antibacterial properties.
Pollen is another valuable ingredient because it contains a wide range of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that contribute to overall health.
All products are fully traceable from the hive to the final packaging, guaranteeing not only high quality but also the purity and safety of the raw materials.
In addition, the use of patented extraction technology ensures that all the active ingredients from these natural ingredients are preserved to the best possible extent, bringing maximum health benefits to the consumer.
Why Anatolian propolis is unique
Anatolian propolis comes from the unspoiled mountain regions of Anatolia, which is one of the richest regions in the world with more than 12,000 species of plants.
Thanks to patented extraction technology, this propolis has an extremely high antioxidant content - up to 80 times more than pomegranate juice - and contains at least 15 different phenolic and flavonoid compounds such as caffeic acid, quercetin and resveratrol.
Regular consumption of this propolis extract at the recommended daily dose can boost immunity, fight oxidative stress and contribute to the health of the whole body.
Moreover, Anatolian propolis is collected from one of the cleanest and least polluted environments on Earth, ensuring its high quality and purity.
The unique composition of this propolis is the result of the biodiversity of the region, where bees obtain raw materials from a wide range of plants rich in active substances, which gives it exceptional nutritional and therapeutic properties.
