Why we chose Bee&You for PraveBio.cz
Bee&You stands out in the world of propolis by combining transparent sourcing, specialist processing and in-house research. At the centre of the brand is Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®, sourced from a botanically rich region of Turkey, together with patented extraction technology and product development led by Dr. Asli Samanci, a food engineer with long-standing expertise in bee products.
Propolis is a naturally variable raw material — its composition changes according to geography, season and the plants visited by the bees. That is why batch-by-batch standardisation matters. In its own R&D centre, Bee&You works with Anatolian propolis extracts sourced through a contracted beekeeping model and standardises key quality parameters, including phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity.
Bee&You works with experts across food science, pharmacology, chemistry, biology and beekeeping, and its approach is supported by scientific publications and university collaborations. Its products are developed and manufactured in line with international quality standards, including GMP, BRC, IFS and ISO. For customers, this means choosing a standardised propolis extract with traceable raw materials, controlled processing and clearly monitored quality parameters — not anonymous propolis of uncertain origin. Pravé Bio is the exclusive importer of Bee&You for the Czech Republic.

SUITABLE FOR
Did you know?
With propolis, origin, processing and raw material verification matter enormously. Its composition naturally varies depending on the region, local flora, season, bee species and extraction method. That is why the percentage of propolis on a label does not tell the whole story about the quality of the final extract.
Authenticity is also a major issue in the global propolis market. One of the most commonly discussed concerns is the use of extracts or resins from poplar buds as an adulterant or substitute. These materials can imitate propolis in colour, aroma and part of its chemical profile, but they are not the same as propolis processed by bees. This is why it is important to distinguish between declared bee propolis and a cheaper plant-based material that may only resemble it.
A frequently mentioned example is poplar-type propolis, a type of propolis botanically associated with poplar trees and typical, among others, of part of the production from China. This means that with mass-market propolis products, it is not enough to look only at price or the percentage of propolis. Far more important are raw material origin, extraction method, standardisation, laboratory testing and traceability.
Bee&You works with Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®, a patented extraction method and raw materials sourced through a contracted beekeeping model. The brand also refers to its own R&D facilities, university collaborations and scientific publications, including clinical studies on Anatolian propolis and selected product formats. Each batch is monitored for quality parameters such as phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity. These values describe the quality and characteristic composition of the raw material, not a health effect.
Bee&You Propolis Chewable Tablets with Bee Pollen and Royal Jelly - key benefits
Bee&You Propolis Chewable Tablets are based on a simple formula where every ingredient has a clear purpose. Three traditional bee-derived ingredients are complemented by carob and cocoa, which naturally soften the distinctive taste of propolis. The result is a compact chewable tablet without unnecessary flavouring agents.
- Precise composition in every tablet – Each tablet contains 150 mg of bee pollen, 90 mg of Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®, 60 mg of royal jelly, 150 mg of carob and 50 mg of cocoa.
- Anatolian propolis A.P.E.® – Bee&You works with a propolis extract from the Anatolian region and monitors selected quality parameters, including phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity.
- Taste shaped by real ingredients – Carob and cocoa naturally complement the taste of propolis, so the formula does not need artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
- Practical use without water – Simply chew the tablet. It fits easily into everyday routines, workdays and travel, especially when you do not want to deal with drops, capsules or measured servings.
- Traceable origin and controlled processing – Bee&You works with a contracted beekeeping model and places emphasis on raw material origin, batch control and consistent quality.
Bee&You Quality Standards
Bee&You builds its work with bee products around three pillars: traceable raw material origin, standardised processing and monitoring of selected quality parameters. With propolis, this approach is especially important because it is a naturally variable raw material whose composition depends on location, season and the plants visited by the bees.
Control from raw material to finished product
Bee&You tests raw materials and finished products for selected quality parameters, including checks for pesticides, antibiotics and heavy metals. The aim is not only to source high-quality propolis, pollen or royal jelly, but to maintain a consistent standard from the hive all the way to the finished product.
Raw materials from contracted beekeeping
The brand works with a contracted beekeeping model, which allows better traceability of the raw materials used. According to Bee&You’s own materials, the brand works with an extensive network of hives and beekeepers, helping it better control the quality, origin and method of sourcing bee-derived ingredients.
Standardised propolis A.P.E.®
Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.® is one of the defining features of the brand. Bee&You monitors selected quality parameters in this extract, including phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity. These values describe the characteristic composition of the raw material, not a health effect.
Propolis: a traditional bee-derived raw material with a naturally variable composition
Propolis, often known as “bee glue”, is a natural resinous material that bees collect from buds, leaves and other parts of plants. In the hive, bees use it as a building and protective material to seal gaps and help maintain the integrity of the hive environment.
Why not all propolis is the same
The composition of propolis can vary significantly depending on where it comes from. Propolis from a mountain region may have a different profile from propolis gathered in lowland areas; spring propolis may differ from late-season propolis. That is why, with propolis, it makes sense to look not only at the percentage of raw material used, but also at its origin, extraction method and batch standardisation.
Propolis and its traditional use
People have used propolis for centuries for its characteristic composition and its established place among bee-derived raw materials. In the European Union, there are no approved specific health claims for propolis. In product descriptions, we therefore present it as a traditional bee-derived raw material with traceable origin and monitored quality parameters.
Harvesting propolis: a bee-conscious approach
Collecting propolis requires a careful approach. Bee&You does not collect propolis directly from inside the hive, where bees need it for the normal functioning of their environment. Instead, it uses propolis traps made from food-grade plastic, placed beneath the inner cover of the hive.
Bees naturally fill these traps with propolis as part of their usual work sealing the hive. Once the traps are full, the beekeeper removes them carefully. This method makes it possible to obtain propolis with its characteristic natural composition while respecting the normal rhythm of the bee colony.
Anatolian Propolis A.P.E.® – origin, extraction and standardisation
Anatolian propolis comes from a region of Turkey known for its exceptional botanical diversity. The richness of the local flora is an important factor in the characteristic composition of propolis, which bees collect from a wide range of plant sources.
Bee&You works with Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.® and a patented extraction method. The brand monitors selected quality parameters in propolis, especially the content of phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity. These values help describe the quality and characteristic profile of the raw material.
The advantage of this approach is that the customer is not buying anonymous propolis of uncertain origin, but a raw material with clear provenance, controlled processing and standardised parameters. With propolis, this is a significant difference, because its natural composition can vary widely depending on the place and season of collection.

Bee products: how to recognise well-processed propolis
With bee products, it is not enough to look only at the ingredient name on the label. For propolis, pollen and royal jelly, the origin of the raw material, method of collection, processing, testing and the manufacturer’s ability to maintain consistent quality from batch to batch all matter.
Propolis: look at origin and standardisation
Propolis is a natural blend of resins and other compounds collected by bees from plants. Because its composition naturally varies, propolis products should be evaluated not only by the percentage of propolis in the formula, but also by raw material origin, extraction method and monitored quality parameters.
Bee&You stands out through its work with Anatolian propolis A.P.E.®, patented extraction and batch standardisation. This makes the resulting propolis extract more clearly defined in terms of composition, origin and quality.
Honey, pollen and royal jelly: traditional bee-derived ingredients
Honey is a natural sweetener and source of carbohydrates. Alongside pure honey, there are also blends with propolis, pollen or royal jelly, combining several bee-derived ingredients in one product.
Bee pollen is a natural part of the bees’ diet and contains naturally occurring compounds such as amino acids, vitamins and enzymes. Royal jelly is the food of the queen bee and is used in Bee&You products as one of the traditional bee-derived raw materials.

Anatolia: biodiversity and the origin of Bee&You propolis
Anatolia, also known as Asia Minor, is a region with an exceptionally rich plant landscape. Its botanical diversity is important for propolis because the composition of propolis naturally reflects the environment where bees collect resins from buds, leaves and other parts of plants.
Bee&You: Anatolian propolis A.P.E.®
Bee&You works with Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®, one of the brand’s key defining ingredients. With propolis, it is not enough to look only at the percentage on the label. The origin of the raw material, extraction method and the manufacturer’s ability to maintain consistent parameters across batches are equally important.
Patented extraction and standardisation
The brand uses a patented extraction technology designed specifically for propolis processing and for preserving its characteristic profile. Bee&You monitors selected quality parameters, including the content of phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity. These values describe the composition and quality of the raw material, not a health effect.
Traceable origin from the hive
Bee&You is built on a contracted beekeeping model that helps trace the origin of raw materials from the hive to the finished product. The brand works with thousands of contracted beekeepers and an extensive network of hives, allowing it to better control the origin, quality and sourcing of bee-derived raw materials.
WHY CHOOSE BEE&YOU
Bee&You was born from the work of Dr. Asli Samanci, a food engineer who has spent years developing bee-derived products and studying propolis processing. The brand is not built only on a traditional beekeeping story, but on the connection between raw material origin, research, standardisation and controlled manufacturing.
The main difference is its work with Anatolian Propolis Extract A.P.E.®. Propolis is a naturally variable raw material, so it is important to monitor not only the amount used, but also its origin, chemical profile and extraction method. Bee&You therefore works with a patented processing method and selected quality parameters for individual batches.
Products are made within a controlled system, and the brand refers to certifications and standards such as GMP, BRC, IFS, ISO, Kosher and Organic. For the customer, this means greater confidence that they are not buying anonymous propolis of unclear origin, but a product with traceable raw materials, controlled processing and clearly monitored quality parameters.
Bee&You also works with a contracted beekeeping model, supporting long-term cooperation with beekeepers and better oversight of raw material origin. The combination of beekeeping, product development, laboratory control and transparency is exactly why we chose to include the brand in the PraveBio.cz range.
Anatolian propolis A.P.E.®

R&D and scientific publications
Bee&You has its own R&D facilities and works with experts and universities. Scientific publications on Anatolian propolis examine, for example, botanical origin, chemical profile, phenolic compounds, flavonoids and antioxidant capacity as parameters of composition.
Batch quality control
Because propolis naturally varies depending on location and season of collection, batch standardisation is important for a high-quality propolis product. Bee&You monitors selected quality parameters so the final extract is better defined and more consistent.
International manufacturing standards
Products are made within a system of international standards, including GMP, BRC, IFS, ISO, Kosher and Organic. These standards support controlled manufacturing processes, safety and traceability.
Bee&You Certifications and Quality
Bee&You places emphasis on quality from raw material selection to the finished product. Raw materials from contracted beekeepers undergo control and testing, the manufacturing process is monitored on the production line, and finished products are checked again for selected quality parameters.
The brand refers to independent testing by accredited laboratories and cooperation with universities. In an audit by the German organisation DQS CFS GmbH, Bee&You received 98.06 points out of 100 in the IFS Food assessment and holds a BRC AA+ certificate. These details are especially important for food supplements and bee-derived raw materials, where customers often cannot assess quality simply by looking at the product.
Bee&You complies with international standards such as GMP, BRC, IFS, ISO 9000, Kosher, Organic and others covering food, food supplements and cosmetics. In practice, this means a focus on traceability, controlled manufacturing processes, standardisation and regular quality verification.

What is propolis and what are its benefits
Propolis is a natural resinous substance that bees collect from the buds, leaves and stems of plants. Due to its sticky consistency and antimicrobial properties, they use it to protect their hive from pathogens.
The bees cover the walls of the hive with a layer of propolis, sterilizing the cells of the honeycomb and creating an ideal environment for the queen to lay her eggs.
Propolis also serves as a natural preservative - it protects honey, royal jelly and pollen from microorganisms in the hive.
The name "propolis" comes from Greek and means "before the city", symbolizing its role as the first line of defense of the bee colony.
Propolis is a rich source of bioactive substances, especially flavonoids, phenolic acids and terpenes, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.
These compounds can help fight free radicals, support the immune system and protect the body from infections. Studies show that propolis can be effective in treating fungal infections such as athlete's foot, for example, and its regular use can contribute to respiratory, skin and oral health.
However, in order for the human body to fully utilize its potential, it is necessary to extract the raw propolis using alcohol or other solvents, which increases its bioavailability and allows the release of the active ingredients.
BEE&YOU certification and quality
BEE&YOU places great emphasis on the quality and authenticity of its products, as evidenced by a strict four-stage inspection system. First, a preliminary analysis of raw material samples from contract beekeepers is carried out to ensure that they meet the required standards. The raw materials are then subjected to further testing in laboratories.
After processing on the production line, the semi-finished products are analysed before filling. Finished products, such as tablets, drops, sprays, syrups and cosmetic products, then undergo rigorous testing in laboratories right in our 10,700 m² production hall.
Finally, the products are independently tested by accredited laboratories and universities, ensuring their high quality. In the latest audit by the independent German organisation DQS CFS GmbH, the brand scored an impressive 98.06 points out of 100 in the IFS Food assessment and was awarded the prestigious BRC AA+ certificate.
BEE&YOU products are certified to local and international standards including GMP, BRC, IFS, SEDEX, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, Kosher, Cosmos and Organic. These certifications cover food, dietary supplements and cosmetics. Thanks to these standards and rigorous quality management, the brand guarantees that each product not only delivers natural values, but also meets the highest safety and quality requirements.
