Propolis is not a chemically identical ingredient from one harvest to the next. What did a comparison of Turkish propolis reveal?
A peer-reviewed study by Özkök et al., published in Applied Biological Chemistry (2021), analysed 23 propolis samples from different parts of Turkey. It found marked variation in total flavonoid and phenolic content, as well as antioxidant capacity.

Propolis, sometimes known as bee glue, is a resinous mixture made by bees from substances gathered from buds, leaves and other plant parts.

Raw propolis is not a ready-made liquid extract
