BEE&YOU never collects propolis directly from inside the hive, because bees use it in normal hive maintenance and to make other bee products. Instead, they use special propolis traps with small openings, made from food-grade plastic.

 

These traps are placed under the inner cover of the hive. Bees naturally fill them with propolis during their normal work of sealing the hive. Once the traps are full, we gently remove them, without disturbing the bees or causing them any harm.

 

This collection method is gentle on bees while allowing high-quality propolis to be obtained, retaining its natural character and quality.

 

Anatolian propolis – natural richness from Turkey

Anatolian propolis, from Turkey’s rich ecosystems, contains at least 15 different phenolic and flavonoid compounds, including caffeic acid, quercetin, galangin, chlorogenic acid, linolenic acid, apigenin and chrysin.

Use

• Hold the spray nozzle vertically towards the nostrils. Gently press both sides of the spray head. Apply 2-3 sprays into each nostril, no more often than every 10 to 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses within 24 hours. After use, clean the spray head and close it.

Notice for using bee products

• Honey: Do not expose it to high temperatures! Honey may change some natural properties when heated above 40 °C. We do not recommend adding it to hot tea – wait until the drink has cooled slightly.
• Propolis: If adding it to liquids, do not use hot drinks, in order to preserve the product’s characteristic properties.
• Pollen: Store in a dry, cool place. Some types of pollen are best kept in the fridge or freezer to extend shelf life.
