What is vegetable refatting

The term "vegetable refatting" is usually used in the cosmetic industry to refer to the process of adding or restoring fats (fatty components) in a cosmetic product, especially in skin care products. "Vegetable" means vegetable, and "refatting" means the addition or restoration of fats, often of vegetable origin, that may be removed during cleaning or washing.

In practice, vegetable refatting may involve adding vegetable oils, butters or other fats to a cosmetic product to keep the skin hydrated and nourished. In this way, fats that may be lost when washing or cleansing the skin are restored.

Ingredients: purely vegetable, no enzymes, no soap!

The natural formula is gentle on sensitive skin prone to allergies and the environment. The contained ingredients biodegrade into naturally occurring substances on contact with wastewater, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

• The liquid gel is free of added irritating chemicals and is therefore suitable for people with sensitive skin and small children.

Usage:

• Hand wash: add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of AlmaWin Wool & Silk to 5 l of warm water. Wash the laundry and rinse well with water.
• Machine washable: 1/2 dosing cap (15 ml) is enough for 1.5 to 2 kg of laundry (equivalent to approximately 4-5 wool sweaters).
• For particularly stubborn stains, use ALMAWIN Bleach.
• 750 ml of detergent is enough for 50 washing cycles.

Ingredients

<5% non-ionic surfactants (saccharoidal surfactants), anionic surfactants (vegetable fatty alcohol sulphates), perfumes (lavandin essential oil* and lavender oil*), linalool.

Other ingredients: water, ethanol, sodium chloride, vegetable fatty acid monoglycerides, lactic acid, wheat proteins.

The difference between the scents of lavender: Lavender smells intense and rich. Lavender, on the other hand, has a gentle, calming scent. Lavandin is a French bred species of lavender.
