Apigenin Powder – 30 g chamomile extract • at least 98% apigenin in the extract • vitamin B1 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system • food supplement
Apigenin, extracted from chamomile. Zinc and vitamins B1 and D3 round out the formula alongside this plant flavonoid. Vitamin B1 supports normal psychological and nervous system function. Zinc helps protect cells from oxidative stress and, together with vitamin D, contributes to normal immune function.
- Formula details: Each daily dose provides 500 mg chamomile extract, standardised to at least 98% apigenin.
- In-house development and production: L Cell develops and manufactures its supplements in its own laboratory in Vilnius, Lithuania.
- Independent lab testing: L Cell commissions regular independent tests for declared ingredient levels, heavy metals and other contaminants.
- 2 scoops daily. One with breakfast, the other before bed. Approximately 60 days per pack. Neutral in flavour according to L Cell; mix into yoghurt or cooled food containing fat.
Apigenin powder: chamomile extract with zinc and vitamins
Why do the stated benefits refer to the added nutrients? We do not have an authorised health claim for apigenin that we can use here. The health benefits described on this page therefore belong to zinc and vitamins B1 and D. Our FAQ explains the distinction between research and authorised claims.
Chamomile extract. Apigenin specified. This plant flavonoid comes from chamomile, with zinc and vitamins B1 and D3 alongside it. Thiamine, or vitamin B1, contributes to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the nervous system. Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress; zinc and vitamin D contribute to normal immune function.
Who might prefer the powder?
- Anyone who prefers not to swallow capsules. Mix the measured powder into food and eat the prepared amount.
- Vegans and vegetarians. L Cell labels the powder as vegan; a plant-based yoghurt is an option for mixing.
Neutral in flavour, according to L Cell. Stir a measured scoop into a little yoghurt or another food containing fat. Take one scoop with breakfast and another before bed. Find preparation details under How to use and more answers in the FAQs.
The daily dose provides 500 mg of chamomile extract with at least 98% apigenin. This describes the concentration within the extract, rather than the percentage absorbed. Zinc and vitamin amounts have separate entries in the table.
Approximately 60 days per pack at the recommended two scoops daily. A measuring scoop is included for the morning and evening doses.
Important information
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- Food supplements should not replace a varied diet. A varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important for good health.
- Keep out of the reach of young children.
- If you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use. Show them the full ingredient list and details of any other supplements you take.
What makes the powder format different?
Choose the format as well as the ingredient. Compare the full formula, amounts per daily dose and directions, alongside the apigenin named on the pack.
- Chamomile extract. The botanical source of apigenin in this formula.
- At least 98% apigenin in the extract. Standardisation specifies its concentration within the botanical ingredient.
- 500 mg of extract per two scoops. The amount for the full daily dose, rather than a single scoop.
- Vitamin B1. Thiamine contributes to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the nervous system.
- Zinc. Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin D. Contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
- A morning dose and an evening dose. One with breakfast, the other before bed.
- Measuring scoop included. Prepare the powder as directed, without filling capsules.
- Approximately 60 days per pack. At the recommended daily dose.
- Independent laboratory checks. Read the sample identification and scope of testing on each report.
Prefer a pre-measured format? Explore apigenin capsules. Their dose is also split between morning and evening; preparation and pack duration differ.
What is apigenin, and how does it relate to chamomile?
Apigenin is a flavone, part of the flavonoid family of plant compounds. In this supplement, it comes from chamomile extract with a specified apigenin concentration.
Chamomile tea and an extract are different preparations. Tea is an infusion of the plant; an extract is obtained from plant material and can have a specified concentration of a selected compound. Cups of tea cannot be converted into scoops or capsules of this supplement.
A minimum 98% means at least 98 mg of apigenin per 100 mg of extract. The declared 500 mg of extract per daily dose therefore provides at least 490 mg of apigenin, calculated from the composition. Zinc and vitamins B1 and D3 are listed separately.
Compare the botanical source, standardisation and amount of extract. These details describe composition, rather than absorption or a guaranteed health outcome.

Chamomile tea, drops or apigenin: which format suits you?
Prefer chamomile as a herbal tea? Explore organic dried chamomile flowers from Geusi Vounou. Prepare an infusion following the pack instructions: an option for enjoying the herb as a drink rather than taking a supplement.
For a liquid format without brewing or swallowing capsules, compare Botanicals for Life chamomile extract. This alcohol-free extract comes in glycerine and water, measured with a dropper. One millilitre corresponds to 1 g of dried chamomile flowers; that describes the starting herb, rather than an amount of pure apigenin.
L Cell specifies the apigenin concentration and adds zinc and vitamins B1 and D3. Its powder mixes into food, without capsules to swallow. Choose according to whether you want a herbal drink, a liquid extract or a supplement with a declared apigenin content. Follow each product’s own directions when switching; do not convert the L Cell dose into cups or drops.
Why add zinc and vitamins B1 and D3?
- The chamomile extract supplies apigenin; the vitamins and mineral have roles of their own. Thiamine contributes to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the nervous system. Those contributions belong to vitamin B1, rather than automatically applying to the chamomile extract.
- Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc and vitamin D also contribute to normal immune function. Each nutrient has its own declared amount alongside the standardised extract.
- Vitamin D: bones and muscles. It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. This formula uses vitamin D3. These functions belong to vitamin D and cannot automatically be attributed to the supplement’s main ingredient.
- The daily dose supplies 1.5 mg zinc, 0.165 mg vitamin B1 and 0.75 µg vitamin D3. Each provides 15% of its nutrient reference value, or NRV. Equal percentages do not mean equal weights: each nutrient has a different reference value.
- The table combines the morning and evening doses. One scoop provides half the listed amounts. Check whether another supplement’s table also describes its complete daily dose before comparing the figures.
- Taking several supplements? Check your total zinc and vitamin B1 and D intake. The main botanical ingredient named on the front does not tell you which other nutrients the formula contains.
Biohacking: food, movement and daily habits
Biohacking uses science, technology and changes to everyday habits to explore how the body and mind function. It can include adjustments to diet, sleep and exercise, meditation, breathing exercises or tracking selected measurements. Supplements are only one part of that wider picture.
What does biohacking involve?
- Food: a varied diet, regular eating habits and an understanding of nutrient intake.
- Sleep and rest: keeping track of sleep duration, bedtimes and time to rest during the day.
- Movement: regular activity that suits your fitness and circumstances.
- Tracking: a diary, app or wearable device to record habits and how they change.
Keeping a record helps you see what has changed in your routine. Alter your diet, exercise and several supplements at once, and it becomes harder to identify what made a difference. Consistency and a clear record of what you take are useful starting points.
Where do supplements fit in?
Compare ingredients, quantities and directions, rather than relying on a product name alone. With L Cell supplements, look at the main ingredients, added vitamins and minerals, powder or capsule format, and laboratory documentation. A varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle remain the foundation.
PraveBio also stocks brands with different specialisms. NoordCode offers functional foods and supplements, including MCT oils, collagen and electrolytes.
Jigsaw Health is an American family business founded in 2005 by Pat Sullivan and his son, Patrick Sullivan Jr. Magnesium and other mineral supplements feature prominently in its range.
BiOptimizers makes food supplements, including enzyme formulas such as the MassZymes digestive enzyme range. Each brand and product has its own composition, so compare the specific formula you are considering.

L Cell: its own laboratory and independent checks
L Cell develops and manufactures food supplements. The brand identifies its own laboratory in Vilnius, Lithuania, as the place where its formulas are made. That gives customers a traceable production location and a clearer picture of the company behind the range.
The range includes glycine with NAC, botanical extracts containing quercetin or resveratrol, and mineral supplements. Many products come as both powders and capsules. Choose the format that suits your routine, while checking the specific ingredients and daily dose for each pack.
Independent laboratories regularly check declared content and unwanted substances, including heavy metals and mycotoxins. Content testing measures the substances analysed; contaminant testing looks for unwanted impurities. Results apply to the sample and tests identified in the laboratory report.
The brand’s documentation also includes GMP and ISO 22000:2018 certificates issued to Longevita Lab and H Drop B.V. Their stated scope covers the development and sale of food supplements and snack foods. They document defined procedures and management systems; ingredient quantities require separate analytical testing.
In-house development and manufacture
L Cell identifies its own Vilnius laboratory as the site where it develops and makes supplements. You can trace the range beyond the brand name to a specific production location.
Powders or capsules
Many formulas are available in both formats. Choose between mixing into a drink and swallowing capsules, then check each ingredient amount against the recommended daily dose for that particular product.
Independent laboratory testing
Analysis covers declared ingredients and unwanted impurities. The report identifies what was measured and which sample was tested, giving you specific information about the material examined.
GMP and ISO 22000:2018
The published certificates cover the stated scope of development and sales. ISO 22000:2018 concerns food safety management systems; a laboratory analysis provides the separate evidence for ingredient quantities in a tested product.
Ingredients

How to use
- One scoop with breakfast and one before bed. Two scoops in total each day.
- Mix into a little yoghurt or another food containing fat. L Cell also suggests olive oil.
- Let food or drink cool to room temperature before adding the powder. Finish the prepared amount to take the full measured dose.
- One pack lasts approximately 60 days when used as directed.
Mixing into a savoury dish? Browse our olive oils for a mild flavour to suit your food. This is a preparation option; adding oil does not change the supplement’s recommended dose.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry, dark place, out of the reach of young children.
- Close the pack after use and protect the contents from moisture. Check the pack for its best-before date.
Apigenin powder questions, answered
Why do the stated benefits refer to the added nutrients rather than apigenin?
Research findings and authorised health claims serve different purposes. Studies investigate substances under specific conditions. Health claims used to sell foods must meet EU requirements; the existence of a study alone is not enough.
We do not have an authorised claim for apigenin that we can use here. We therefore explain its source, concentration within the extract and how to take it. Zinc and vitamins B1 and D have authorised functions that can be stated when the conditions of use are met. These belong to the named nutrients, rather than automatically applying to apigenin or the complete blend.

Is apigenin the same as chamomile tea?
No. Apigenin is a specific plant compound; chamomile tea is an infusion. This supplement uses an extract with a declared apigenin concentration and adds zinc and vitamins B1 and D3.
A cup’s composition depends on the plant material and brewing method. It cannot be equated with a scoop or capsule. Compare the extract’s label information, rather than counting cups of tea.

Does 500 mg of extract mean 500 mg of pure apigenin?
No. The daily dose contains 500 mg of chamomile extract with at least 98% apigenin. That provides at least 490 mg of apigenin, calculated from the declared figures. Extract weight and apigenin weight are distinct.
The finished product also contains the added nutrients. The 98% figure describes the concentration within the extract, rather than absorption or strength of effect.

When should I take apigenin, and how long does a pack last?
The directions split the daily dose between morning and evening. Take one scoop with breakfast and another before bed.
Used this way, a pack lasts approximately 60 days. The table gives the combined amounts. These timings are directions for use, rather than a promise of a sleep-inducing effect; do not increase the dose in pursuit of a particular feeling.

What does apigenin powder taste like, and how should I mix it?
L Cell describes this powder as neutral in flavour. Mix it into a little yoghurt, a plant-based alternative or another food containing fat. Choose a base you enjoy and finish the entire prepared amount.
Prepare the morning and evening doses separately as directed. Prefer not to mix powder into food? Compare apigenin capsules, taken with water.

Can I add the powder to hot coffee or tea?
L Cell advises against adding the powder to hot liquids. Allow coffee, tea or warm food to cool to room temperature before mixing in the measured dose.
The directions recommend food containing fat. There is no need to prepare a large drink: use an amount of food you can comfortably finish, so none of the measured dose is left behind.

How do I choose between powder and capsules?
Compare preparation and the number of daily doses. The powder is measured and mixed into food; capsules come pre-measured. Both formats split the daily dose between breakfast and bedtime.
The 30 g powder lasts approximately 60 days; a pack of 60 capsules lasts approximately 30 days. Compare prices by the number of recommended daily doses. You can also explore the capsule format.

Why are zinc and vitamins B1 and D3 included alongside the extract?
Each has its own authorised functions. Thiamine contributes to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the nervous system. Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress; zinc and vitamin D contribute to normal immune function.
The full daily dose supplies 15% NRV of each of these nutrients. Their presence can therefore be explained through specific amounts and functions. It does not establish synergy or a multiplied effect of apigenin.

Can I take apigenin with medication?
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting. L Cell notes possible effects on how some medicines are processed. The assessment depends on the particular medicine and complete supplement formula; one answer cannot cover every combination.
Show them the label and a list of other products you take. Do not alter prescribed treatment because of a supplement. Seek individual medical advice during pregnancy or breastfeeding too.

What do L Cell laboratory reports and certificates establish?
A laboratory report describes the sample tested and the measurements performed. It may include the declared compound content or tests for selected contaminants. Check the sample identification, date and scope of analysis.
A system certificate and a product analysis have different purposes. The certificate applies to the named company and activities; the laboratory report concerns a particular sample. Neither document alone demonstrates effects in people or authorises a new health claim.

Inside L Cell’s Vilnius lab
- Developed in-house. L Cell develops and manufactures its supplements in its own laboratory in Vilnius, Lithuania.
- Independently tested. The brand regularly commissions checks on declared ingredient content and unwanted substances. Available reports sit alongside the relevant products.
- The full ingredient picture. Our product tables distinguish the main compound from its botanical extract, with added zinc and vitamins listed separately.
- Powder or capsules. Many products come in both formats. Each has its own ingredient quantities, directions and pack size, so you can compare the details before choosing.
Where L Cell supplements are made
Product development and manufacturing in Vilnius are part of L Cell’s own operation. The brand publishes its laboratory address and information about product testing; each supplement still needs to be considered individually.
The range includes GlyNAC with glycine and NAC, botanical extracts such as apigenin and resveratrol, and magnesium supplements. These are different ingredients, with distinct compositions and directions.
Research into an ingredient does not establish the effects of every supplement containing it. Our descriptions distinguish ingredient information from health claims applicable to a particular nutrient and dose.
Pravé Bio and L Cell
Pravé Bio, NUZBOZ s.r.o., is L Cell’s exclusive distributor for the Czech Republic. Our shop carries individual L Cell product ranges and their available formats.
We check ingredient identity, quantities and the full ingredient list. For botanical extracts, we distinguish the weight of the extract from the amount of the specified compound within it.
Powders and capsules from the same range may differ. For example, GlyNAC powder and the capsule version have different glycine-to-NAC ratios; the individual product tables show those differences.
Match your question to the exact product. When comparing options, use the product name, format and pack size. For a laboratory report, also check the sample or batch identification.

Laboratory testing and certificates
Ingredient testing and contaminant testing answer different questions. One measures the amount of an analysed ingredient; the other checks for unwanted substances such as heavy metals. The brand’s documentation includes GMP and ISO 22000:2018 certificates issued to Longevita Lab and H Drop B.V. Their stated scope covers the development and sale of food supplements and food snacks.
A management-system certificate does not replace a product analysis. A laboratory result applies to the identified sample, measured substances and method. It does not establish rejuvenation or another health outcome.
Compare like with like: the main ingredient, its amount per daily dose, the other ingredients and the number of doses in the pack.
