Botanicals For Life is a British brand specializing in herbal extracts with high bioavailability. The brand was founded by the team of naturopaths behind the Mushrooms For Life project. Product development is based on clinical experience and knowledge of plant biochemistry. The foundation of the portfolio consists of liquid herbal extracts in organic coconut glycerin, which are suitable for sensitive individuals.
A key technological process is the triple extraction process. This method combines extraction in organic ethanol for non-polar substances (resins, oils) with hot and cold water extraction for polar substances (polysaccharides, minerals). In the final stage, the ethanol is removed by vacuum evaporation and replaced with glycerin. The result is a 1:1 concentration ratio, where 1 ml of extract corresponds to 1000 mg of dried herb. The raw materials come from agroecological cultivation, which supports the formation of secondary metabolites and increases the mineral content compared to conventional agriculture, or from organic farming certified by the Soil Association Organic.
Production takes place according to strict GMP standards, and each batch undergoes independent laboratory testing for the presence of heavy metals, pesticides, and microorganisms. The products are designed for rapid absorption through the mucous membranes, bypassing the slower metabolism in the digestive tract associated with capsules. The formulation is strictly free from added sugar, artificial sweeteners, fillers, and binders, ensuring high purity of the final solution.

Why triple extraction delivers better results
During alcohol maceration, compounds soluble in alcohol are released from the herbs, particularly terpenes and other lipophilic constituents. This is followed by cold water extraction, which allows water-soluble compounds to be obtained while minimising the degradation of heat-sensitive substances.
In the final stage, the alcohol is removed from the finished extract and replaced with plant-based glycerine, which acts as a stable carrier for the extracted compounds. The result is an alcohol-free liquid extract, suitable for long-term use and precise drop-by-drop dosing.
