OregaRESP 4-in-1 Oil Softgels, 60 Capsules oregano P73 • sage • cumin • cinnamon • tapioca shell • food supplement
Four aromatic botanical ingredients in extra virgin olive oil: oregano P73, sage, cumin and cinnamon. OregaRESP oil softgels have a plant-based tapioca shell. Swallowing them whole limits direct contact with the strong-tasting oil and avoids measuring drops.
- Adult directions: 1 softgel twice daily with meals.
- Complete blend: 140 mg per softgel; 280 mg per two softgels. These figures describe the blend in olive oil, rather than carvacrol alone.
- 60 softgels: a 30-day supply at the recommended dose. Plant-based shell, suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Food supplement.
Why it’s Pravé Bio
Four aromatic botanicals, an olive-oil base and a plant-based capsule shell. We chose OregaRESP for its particular combination of P73 oregano, sage, cumin and cinnamon oleoresin. The oil is enclosed in a soft tapioca capsule, so there are no drops to measure.
The processing matters as much as the capsule format. NAHS obtains P73 oregano oil from several wild oregano species by steam distillation; the cinnamon ingredient is a CO₂ extract. These are oil softgels, with different ingredients and directions from capsules of powdered herbs.
We have worked with NAHS since 2015 and import directly from the USA. The relationship began with our London shop. Today, PraveBio is the brand’s exclusive European distributor, with direct access to the manufacturer for questions about ingredients and use.

What makes the blend 4-in-1?
Four aromatic botanical ingredients in extra virgin olive oil: oregano P73, sage, cumin and cinnamon. OregaRESP oil softgels have a plant-based tapioca shell. Swallowing them whole limits direct contact with the strong-tasting oil and avoids measuring drops.
Oregano, sage and cumin oils are accompanied by cinnamon oleoresin. Extra virgin olive oil carries the botanical ingredients. The label gives the total weight of the mixture, rather than separate amounts for each botanical.
Oil-filled softgels and powder capsules are different products
This formula contains plant oils and cinnamon oleoresin obtained by CO₂ extraction. OregaRESP 6-in-1 powder capsules use a different formulation. A shared range name does not mean the same ingredients, fill weight or directions.
It is an aromatic extract obtained using CO₂. Oil softgels are therefore not simply encapsulated ground spices, and comparing them with powder capsules by weight alone is misleading.

Choosing between capsules and drops
Compare OregaRESP 4-in-1 oil drops if you prefer to measure liquid doses. For oregano in an olive oil carrier without added sage, cumin or cinnamon, consider Oreganol P73 Original Strength capsules. These are alternatives to compare, rather than a recommendation to take them together.
Oil softgels or powder capsules?
- This 4-in-1 version contains an oil blend in a soft tapioca shell. The 6-in-1 powder capsules use a different formulation. Ingredients, fill weights and directions must be checked separately for each product.
Can I convert softgels to drops?
- Do not use a concentration comparison as a dosing conversion. Liquid OregaRESP has its own directions and declared blend quantity per stated number of drops, and drop size depends on the dropper. Follow the directions for the format you choose.
OregaRESP or Oreganol P73?
- Oreganol Original Strength contains oregano oil in an olive oil carrier. OregaRESP adds sage, cumin and cinnamon oleoresin. Choose by ingredient profile and preferred format; more ingredients do not automatically make a blend stronger or more suitable for everyone.
Taking softgels with food
- The manufacturer recommends taking them with meals. Swallowing the capsule whole limits oil contact with your mouth, but a herbal aftertaste or burping can still occur. Stop use if irritation persists.
Ingredients
Proprietary blend in extra virgin olive oil: wild mountain oregano oil P73, cinnamon oleoresin (CO₂ extract), wild high-mountain sage oil and cumin oil. Capsule shell: plant-based tapioca material, described on the label as “tapioca vegetable gelatin”. The manufacturer labels the product Non-GMO.
| Complete blend in EVOO | 1 softgel | 2 softgels / day |
|---|---|---|
| Complete blend in EVOO | 140 mg | 280 mg |
The bottle contains 60 softgels, or 30 two-softgel doses of two. Individual oil amounts and carvacrol are not disclosed separately. No nutrient reference value has been established for the blend.
How to Use & Storage
Adults take one softgel twice daily with meals, for example at breakfast and dinner, with water. “Serving size: 2 softgels” in the composition panel is the quantity used to declare the ingredient amounts; it does not mean taking two softgels twice a day. At the recommended dose, a bottle lasts 30 days. Bottle duration is not a prescribed course length.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.
- Do not take if allergic to any ingredient. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if taking medication or if you have a medical condition. Stop use if irritation occurs.

North American Herb & Spice: expertise & in-house manufacturing
From ingredient to finished supplementNAHS develops and manufactures its own supplements. Founder Judy K. Gray remains personally involved in sourcing and formulation, working with the brand’s development, manufacturing and quality-control teams.
Oregano was just the beginning
The range began with Oreganol P73. Judy K. Gray has since developed more than 400 formulas for NAHS and its sister brand, Physician’s Strength, which has a separate range for healthcare practitioners.
The wholefood approach
NAHS aims to retain naturally occurring compounds together. For pressed oils, that means considering the seed’s accompanying compounds as well as its fatty acids; for oregano, the essential oil’s wider aromatic profile. The plant and the part used determine how it is processed.
Beyond oregano
Black seed, turmeric, chaga and wild berries sit alongside fish oils in the range. They appear in capsules, drops, powders and drink blends, each with its own ingredients and directions.

Long-standing relationships at source
NAHS works with established local partners and harvesters. Its wild oregano is picked by hand in the Turkish mountains; other ingredients come from regions including Peru and northern Canada. Knowledge of local plants, harvests and growing conditions informs both ingredient selection and processing.
More than a buying relationship
NAHS has helped fund wells, schools and community facilities. Its Strong Community Causes programme also supports selected projects nominated by customers.

In-house research & development
The development team selects the ingredients, extracts and any carriers for each formula. It also determines the final format, from liquid oils to capsules and powders.
Made in Lake Forest, Illinois
NAHS has its own manufacturing facilities in Lake Forest, near Chicago. Liquid products are bottled on site under the supervision of the quality-control team.
Checks at both ends of production
Incoming ingredients and finished products are tested for identity, levels of selected constituents and unwanted impurities. Quality control continues beyond receipt of the raw material.
Processing to suit the ingredient
Cold pressing, steam distillation, CO₂ extraction, juicing and milling serve different purposes. Seeds yield pressed oils, while distillation can separate essential oils from aromatic herbs.
Knowing the source
Long-standing partners and local harvesters connect NAHS with the places its ingredients come from. Both the plant species and its growing environment inform the choice of raw material.
GMP & facility certifications
Manufacturing follows GMP principles. The facility holds organic, Kosher and Halal certifications; these do not automatically apply to every individual product.

Pravé Bio: NAHS’s exclusive partner for Europe
- London, 2015: our first bottle of Oreganol P73. We found NAHS while looking for a good oregano oil. Having tried it ourselves, we wanted to know more about the oregano’s origins and the wider range. We went on to stock the brand in our London-based online shop.
- From London shop to European distributor. We introduced NAHS to Pravé Bio after returning to Czechia. Today, Jana Čevelová and Jan Zaoral run its exclusive European distribution through Nuzboz s.r.o., importing directly from the brand in the USA.
- A direct line to the people who make it. The NAHS team supplies us with ingredient and manufacturing documentation. When customers need more detail, we ask the people who develop and manufacture the products.

FAQs
How many softgels should I take each day?
The current manufacturer’s adult directions are one softgel twice daily with meals: two softgels in total per day. The quantity shown for two softgels in the ingredients table is not an instruction to take two capsules twice daily.

How much blend is in a softgel?
The label declares 280 mg of the complete blend in extra virgin olive oil per two softgels, equivalent to 140 mg per softgel. A 60-softgel bottle contains 30 such two-softgel doses. This is not 280 mg of oregano oil or carvacrol alone.

Is this a 15-day or a 30-day supply?
Sixty softgels last 30 days at two per day. A 15-day calculation would assume four daily, which is not the recommended daily amount stated here. Supply duration does not establish how long you should use the product continuously.

Are these softgels vegan, and why do some listings mention beef gelatin?
Pravé Bio has confirmed that its current stock uses a plant-based tapioca shell, matching the newer manufacturer’s label. Earlier batches used beef gelatin, so older photos and descriptions may still show it. The current version is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

How do oil softgels differ from OregaRESP powder capsules?
This 4-in-1 version contains an oil blend in a soft tapioca shell. The 6-in-1 powder capsules use a different formulation. Ingredients, fill weights and directions must be checked separately for each product.

Can I replace one softgel with a particular number of drops?
Do not use a concentration comparison as a dosing conversion. Liquid OregaRESP has its own directions and declared blend quantity per stated number of drops, and drop size depends on the dropper. Follow the directions for the format you choose.

How does it differ from Oreganol P73 Original Strength?
Oreganol Original Strength contains oregano oil in an olive oil carrier. OregaRESP adds sage, cumin and cinnamon oleoresin. Choose by ingredient profile and preferred format; more ingredients do not automatically make a blend stronger or more suitable for everyone.

Does P73 or the 280 mg figure tell me the carvacrol dose?
No. P73 identifies NAHS’s oregano ingredient, whereas 280 mg describes the whole blend per two softgels. The carvacrol amount in the finished softgel is not separately declared and cannot be calculated from these figures.

Is cumin the same as caraway or black seed?
No. They are different plants. The manufacturer lists cumin oil in OregaRESP. Black seed is sometimes called black cumin, which can cause confusion, but black seed oil is not listed in this formula.

Is cinnamon oleoresin simply ground cinnamon?
No. It is an aromatic extract obtained using CO₂. Oil softgels are therefore not simply encapsulated ground spices, and comparing them with powder capsules by weight alone is misleading.

Should I take them with food, and will I taste oregano?
The manufacturer recommends taking them with meals. Swallowing the capsule whole limits oil contact with your mouth, but a herbal aftertaste or burping can still occur. Stop use if irritation persists.

Can I open or chew a softgel?
The manufacturer mentions opening softgels for some other methods of administration. For routine adult use, swallowing the capsule whole is more convenient. Opening it exposes the strong-tasting oil and can leave some contents in the shell. The liquid drops have their own directions for measuring a liquid dose.

What does the manufacturer say about children?
The shared OregaRESP page gives children’s directions of one softgel daily, without a numerical minimum age. This does not establish suitability for every child. Consider their ability to swallow a capsule safely and check individual suitability with a paediatrician; do not substitute the liquid’s dose.

Does the manufacturer also mention use in animals?
Yes, its shared product page mentions animal use and opening a softgel. That does not establish one dose for every species and body weight. A vet should determine suitability and the amount; do not automatically scale a human dose for a pet.

Do the capsules contain alcohol, gluten or ginger?
The declared formula lists no alcohol base, cereal ingredient or ginger. It is not an alcohol tincture. An ingredient list alone does not establish gluten-free certification or exclude trace allergens; check the specific batch if you have coeliac disease or a serious allergy.

Does Non-GMO mean organically certified?
No. Non-GMO is the manufacturer’s statement about genetically modified ingredients. Organic certification is a separate matter. MOSA Organic certification follows the US organic standard; a certificate for another NAHS product or facility does not automatically establish certification of this particular blend.

Can I take it with medication or use it long term?
Show the full ingredients to a doctor or pharmacist if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition. The directions specify a dose rather than a universal duration. Longer-term use and overlapping oregano supplements need individual consideration.

Can OregaRESP replace treatment for an infection?
No. It is a food supplement, not a medicine. Laboratory research on individual oils does not demonstrate treatment of a disease with this finished blend in humans. Seek medical advice for persistent or worsening symptoms.
