Which OregaRESP format should I choose?

North American Herb & Spice sources wild herbs and spices through long-standing partners, including harvesters in the Mediterranean mountains. Its P73 oregano oil is a blend from several wild oregano species. For oregano, steam distillation separates the aromatic oil from the rest of the plant; the resulting oil differs from the whole dried herb and should not be assigned its vitamin or mineral content.

Frequently asked questions
Does 6-in-1 mean six different herbs?
No. There are six entries in the botanical blend, but oregano appears as both herb and extract. The five plants are oregano, cumin, sage, cinnamon and ginger. The name does not refer to six health effects.
Is each capsule 450 mg of oregano oil or carvacrol?
No. The 450 mg figure is the combined weight of the botanical blend per capsule. The individual ingredient and carvacrol amounts are not separately declared, so they cannot be calculated from that number.
How many capsules should I take?
The current manufacturer’s directions are one powder capsule twice daily: two per day. It suggests taking the product with juice or food. The one-capsule serving in the ingredients panel is not the full daily amount.
How long do the 30- and 90-capsule bottles last?
At two capsules a day, 30 capsules provide 15 days and 90 provide 45 days. Bottle size changes the capsule count, rather than the declared 450 mg blend per capsule. This supply calculation does not establish a recommended duration of use.
Are these the same as OregaRESP 4-in-1 softgels?
No. The 6-in-1 formula is a powder blend that also includes ginger and oregano herb. The 4-in-1 softgels contain a different oil blend in an olive oil carrier. Ingredient amounts, shell materials and directions must be checked separately.
Does a heavier powder blend mean greater potency than an oil softgel?
Weight alone cannot establish that. The powder and oil formulations contain different forms of botanical ingredients, and individual extract quantities are not disclosed. More milligrams do not demonstrate a stronger effect.
Can I swap one capsule for 50 drops of oil?
A marketing comparison of concentration is not a dosing conversion. It does not identify a directly comparable liquid formula and dropper. Each format has its own composition and directions, which should be followed separately.
Are both bottle sizes vegan, and what is the capsule shell?
Yes. The manufacturer states that there are no animal ingredients. Current 30- and 90-capsule packs both use a pullulan shell. Pullulan is not another name for cellulose; earlier documentation may list a different capsule material.
Does it contain any excipients?
Yes. Alongside the botanical blend, the label lists pullulan, oat fibre and silica. These are additional formulation ingredients, rather than extra herbs in the six-part blend. Fibre quantity is not declared, so this is not a substitute for a fibre supplement.
Is OregaRESP gluten-free?
The formula contains oat fibre. Non-GMO wording does not establish gluten-free status. If you have coeliac disease or follow a gluten-free diet, obtain product-specific confirmation of suitability. Do not take it if you are allergic to oats.
Is cumin the same as caraway or black seed?
No. These are different plants. The manufacturer lists cumin in OregaRESP. Black seed is sometimes called black cumin, but that does not make it the same ingredient.
Is this simply dried oregano?
No. It combines oregano herb and extract with cumin, sage, cinnamon oleoresin and ginger. CO₂ extraction is specifically stated for the cinnamon; that does not establish the same production method for every ingredient.
Can I open a capsule instead of swallowing it?
The manufacturer mentions opening a capsule for another method of administration on the shared range page. Routine use is by swallowing the capsule. Opening it exposes the blend’s strong taste and may leave some powder behind; it does not replace measuring the liquid drops.
What are the manufacturer’s directions for children?
The children’s instruction of one softgel daily on the shared range page refers to oil-filled softgels. It does not establish a children’s dose for these powder capsules. Ask a paediatrician about suitability and dosing for this specific formulation.
Can I sprinkle the contents on my pet’s food?
The shared manufacturer’s page mentions this method, but does not establish one dose for every species, weight and health condition. A vet should determine suitability and the amount. Do not automatically scale a human dose for an animal.
Can I take it with medication or for an extended period?
Show the full ingredients to a doctor or pharmacist, especially if taking regular medication, pregnant or breastfeeding. Individual extract amounts are not stated, so suitability cannot be judged from the word oregano alone. The directions do not set a universal duration of use.
Does non-GMO also mean certified organic or MOSA Organic?
No. These are different statements. The label specifies non-GMO oat fibre and an organically sourced sage ingredient; neither establishes MOSA Organic certification or RAW status for the whole finished product.
Is OregaRESP a medicine for breathing problems?
