Why SinuOrega is Pravé Bio
SinuOrega is a sea-salt nasal spray with four botanical oils: wild oregano P73, clove bud, sage and bay leaf. NAHS uses its own P73 oregano blend in a ready-to-use, water-based formulation for nasal hygiene.

For nasal care without oregano, clove, sage or bay leaf oils, compare Bee&You’s nasal spray with 10% propolis extract. Its ingredients are propolis extract, water and sea salt, with no eucalyptus oil either. Do not use it if allergic to propolis or other bee products.
Bee&You Rhinapi is another option for moisturising the nasal lining if you prefer a eucalyptus scent. This nasal spray contains Anatolian propolis, glycerin and eucalyptus oil in a water-based saline formulation. Glycerin helps retain moisture, while eucalyptus oil adds a fresh scent. Rhinapi contains none of the four SinuOrega oils, but it does contain aromatic eucalyptus oil; do not use it if allergic to propolis or other bee products.
Rhinapi has also been studied clinically. A European observational study followed 440 patients with allergic rhinitis for three weeks, assessing nasal symptoms and quality of life.

Four botanical oils: what is different about SinuOrega?
Wild oregano P73 oil is obtained by steam distillation. This separates the plant’s volatile aromatic constituents, retaining a naturally occurring mixture that includes carvacrol and thymol. For P73, NAHS selects oregano species with the required natural composition rather than artificially increasing individual constituents.
- Clove bud: the ingredient is bud oil, rather than leaf oil. Eugenol is a characteristic constituent of clove oil. In the NAHS product Clovanol clove extract, the clove bud oil is blended with an olive-oil carrier.
- Sage: another botanical oil in the nasal formulation. The sage product Sagenol sage extract has its own ingredients and directions.
- Bay leaf: also known as laurel, this oil adds to the spray’s spicy scent. NAHS also offers Bay Leaf oil product.
The finished nasal spray has a pronounced herbal aroma and a different ingredient profile from plain seawater. The separate oil products linked here should not be put into your nose or added to SinuOrega.
How to use SinuOrega
- Wash your hands and remove the protective cap.
- Place the nozzle just inside your nostril; do not insert it deeply.
- Gently press the pump and breathe in deeply through your nose.
- Repeat in the other nostril. Use as needed, following the pack instructions.
- Wipe the outside of the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap. Keep each bottle for one person only.
Which bottle: 30 ml or 60 ml?
The 30 ml and 60 ml bottles have the same declared ingredients and directions. Choose according to how often you use the spray.
- 30 ml for a first purchase or occasional use: a smaller bottle to try the spray’s pronounced herbal character.
- 60 ml for more frequent use by one person: twice the volume at a lower price per 10 ml, if you already know the spray and use it regularly.
Our experience with SinuOrega: we have used the spray for ten years and have not noticed signs of spoilage in our own bottles. After several months open, the sensation on application can feel milder.
Storage after opening: wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue after use and replace the protective cap. Keep the spray tightly closed in its original bottle, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Understanding P73. P73 names NAHS’s own oregano blend; it does not state the concentration in the finished nasal spray. Carvacrol and thymol are naturally occurring aromatic constituents of oregano essential oil; their presence alone does not establish the effect of a nasal product. Oregano oil and carvacrol percentages are not declared for SinuOrega.
Water and sea salt. Water is the liquid base, with sea salt dissolved in it. A verified salt concentration or osmolality is needed before it can be described as isotonic or hypertonic. It contains neither xylometazoline nor oxymetazoline, which are used in some medicated nasal sprays.

Judy K. Gray, M.S.: founder of NAHS

Frequently asked questions
Can I use SinuOrega during hay fever season?
SinuOrega can be used for nasal hygiene during hay fever season if its botanical ingredients suit you. It does not replace prescribed allergy treatment and should not be used if you are sensitive to any ingredient.
For moisturising the nasal lining, you can also consider Bee&You Rhinapi, with propolis, glycerin and eucalyptus oil. Rhinapi was investigated in a published European observational study involving 440 patients with allergic rhinitis. It is an alternative if eucalyptus suits you and you want a spray without the four SinuOrega oils.
Does it need to sting to work?
No. Sensations vary between users, and a stronger sting does not mean a stronger effect. Temporary burning, sneezing and nasal discharge are possible reactions described in the directions. Stop using it if irritation is severe or persists.
What if I would rather avoid the botanical oils?
Bee&You’s nasal spray with 10% propolis extract contains propolis extract, water and sea salt, without oregano, clove, sage, bay leaf or eucalyptus oils. Compare it with SinuOrega if you want to leave out those aromatic ingredients. Do not use it if allergic to propolis or other bee products.

Is SinuOrega non-addictive, and how often can I use it?
The non-addictive spray is suitable for daily use as needed. It contains neither xylometazoline nor oxymetazoline. The directions do not specify a fixed daily spray count; do not use it more often in the hope of a faster result. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
When should I choose 30 ml or 60 ml?
Choose 30 ml to try the spray or for occasional use. 60 ml contains twice the volume at a lower price per 10 ml for one person who uses it more frequently. Choose the size according to how often you use the spray.
Is it suitable for children?
The available directions do not establish a minimum age. Check suitability for your child with a pharmacist or paediatrician and follow the pack instructions. Other parents’ experiences do not establish suitability for your child. Stop use if the child finds application painful.
Can I use it during pregnancy, while breastfeeding or with a medicated nasal spray?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use, including after nasal surgery or another nasal procedure. Your doctor or pharmacist can advise on timing alongside other products. Keep to your prescribed treatment.
Is SinuOrega isotonic or hypertonic?
Sea salt is present, but a verified salt concentration or osmolality is not available in the product information. We therefore do not label it isotonic or hypertonic. Sea salt naturally contains sodium chloride, so describing the spray as sodium-chloride-free would be misleading.
Can I use oregano drops in my nose or put this mist in a nasal rinse?
For oral use, we stock Oreganol P73 drops in an olive-oil carrier. This is a different type of product and should not be put into the nose. Use SinuOrega with its own nozzle; do not pour it into a nebuliser or nasal-rinse pot, or dilute it with homemade saline.
Does it contain alcohol, and are the ingredients vegan?
There is no alcohol or polysorbate 80 in the formulation. The declared ingredients are water, sea salt and plant oils, with no animal-derived ingredients listed. This does not establish separate vegan or organic certification for the finished product.
What is our experience of using a bottle over several months?
In ten years of using SinuOrega, we have not noticed signs of spoilage in our own bottles. In our experience, the sensation on application can feel milder after a bottle has been open for several months. This reflects our own experience.
Keep the bottle closed with its cap on, away from sunlight and heat sources. A clean nozzle, the original bottle and correct storage matter even if you only use the spray occasionally.
Can several people share a bottle after cleaning the nozzle?
For hygiene reasons, we recommend a separate bottle for each person. Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue after use and replace the cap. If the pump fails, check the remaining liquid and the outside of the nozzle. Do not pierce or dismantle the mechanism; contact us if the problem continues.
