Why does Re-Lyte contain no sugar or maltodextrin?

What is the difference between magnesium malate and magnesium glycinate in Re-Lyte?
Magnesium malate is bound to malic acid, which plays a role in the Krebs cycle (ATP energy production). Magnesium glycinate is bound to the amino acid glycine, has high absorbability, and has a relaxing effect on the nervous system and muscles.
Is the Real Salt in Re-Lyte genuinely free from microplastics?
