Our journey from London to PraveBio.cz
With love for you and for nature
Hi, we’re Jana and Honza. Two lovers of nature and real organic products, who after 20 years of living and running a business in London, returned back to the Czech Republic. Together with our adopted dog buddy Beruška, we bring you the highest-quality healthy foods, supplements, and cosmetics from carefully chosen producers around the world.
Life and business in London opened our eyes. We realized that food and cosmetics can be seen in a totally different way than what we were used to in our part of Europe. That even in the sea of poor-quality products from big corporations and private labels with unclear sources, there are producers who truly care about ingredients and origin. People who do things with love, with conscience, and with a philosophy like ours – quality, health and sustainability matter more than quantity. And also that profit is not the only thing that matters in life and in business. Even if it may sound utopian today.
In 2010 we started our first online shop with organic cosmetics in the UK, called Purely Natural Cosmetics. Thanks to connections and friendships with many producers worldwide, it grew into a shop with specialized supplements and foods. Later, we decided that these amazing brands and products also deserve to be offered on the Czech and European market, where this kind of quality was missing. That’s how PraveBio.cz was born.
Until 2019, we were still living partly in London and partly here, but the pandemic in 2020 moved us permanently back to Moravia, where we’re originally from. In Otrokovice, we gradually built the base for our e-shop and wholesale, including warehouses and a pick-up point.
For most brands you see here, we are the exclusive importers into the Czech Republic. Over time we became wholesale suppliers of our brands to leading Czech e-shops such as puravia.cz, cukrfree.cz, braimarket.cz, as well as drmax.cz and rohlik.cz. The timeline story of PraveBio
Our journey to truly organic products:
20 years in London
We met in 1998. London was our dream destination for living and working, and in 2001 we finally got there via Scotland, where we first earned money picking strawberries and raspberries. We had no flat, no job, not even a work visa. A big adventure began.
Our very first e-shop with cosmetics
In 2010, Honza developed skin problems after using a shaving product. So we started looking for natural cosmetics without irritating ingredients and discovered a pioneering organic brand from Australia. We decided to start importing it to the UK, and our first e-shop, Purely Natural Cosmetics, was born – as a side project next to our jobs.
The London e-shop grows organically
The cosmetics e-shop surprisingly took off. Small but steady, without loans or investors. Honza took care of IT and distribution, Jana wrote product descriptions and expanded the range. The more we learned – including about shady corporate practices, big chains, and unclear private labels – the more we felt that natural products were the only right path. We discovered amazing producers not only of cosmetics, but also food. And we enjoyed the London Olympics in 2012.
Wanting the best for CZ – PraveBio.cz is born
In 2016, we founded an e-shop in the Czech Republic too, because we saw how much true quality was missing in organic products and cosmetics here. At first just slowly, since we weren’t ready to move back home from London yet. In 2019, we also launched another project, GratiaNatura.cz, an e-shop focused purely on organic cosmetics.
Return to CZ and starting wholesale
In 2020, during the first lockdown, Jana got stuck in CZ and fully dived into working on the Czech e-shop PraveBio.cz. We also launched wholesale, with our first customers being Puravia and Cukrfree, because their founders understood our philosophy and that our brands stood out in quality compared to the Czech average. Finally, we both decided to fully return and continue our mission here.
Growing and discovering new brands
In CZ, we’ve been steadily growing with both the e-shop and wholesale. In our free time, we happily “dig with our hands in the soil” in our garden. And we love swimming in the legendary “Štěrkáč” both in summer and winter.
New warehouse in Otrokovice and new partnerships
In 2025, we’re moving our warehouse to bigger premises in the former Baťa complex, where during the year we’ll also relocate our pick-up point. We’re arranging new partnerships, filming, and preparing interviews with our producers to show you even more about their philosophy, values, and production.
New identity and website redesign
The year 2025 also brings a change of logo and overall identity of PraveBio.cz, including a fresh look for the e-shop. Along with that, we’re preparing more improvements and tweaks for you – stay tuned :)

For most of the products and brands, we’re the exclusive importers to the Czech Republic, for some also to Europe. We know our products inside out, plus we use and test them ourselves. We would never sell you something we haven’t tried and verified. - We have rich experience abroad and keep learning
We regularly travel to international fairs, follow trends, and educate ourselves. We’re also in constant contact with our producers, filming interviews with some of them, sharing experiences and behind-the-scenes insights from the industry and global market. - We love to help, explain, and play fair
