These organic protein chunks contain up to 50 g of protein per 100 g, which is significantly above average for plant-based products.

They also contain fiber (approx. 14 g), minimal sugar (< 3 g) and low fat content (~4 g), with only about 0.8 g saturated. They are naturally gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, and made from certified organic ingredients. They contain no GMOs, additives, or substitutes. Thanks to their minimal composition, they offer a clean and nutritionally valuable component without unwanted additives. The combination of pea and fava protein provides almost a complete amino acid profile – they complement each other in trace amino acids like methionine and lysine. Ingredients

  • 1 jar of Thai Curry Sauce from Yakso,
  • 1 cup of basmati rice,
  • 200 g of pea and fava protein chunks,
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped,
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped,
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips,
  • 1 small zucchini or broccoli, cut into pieces,
  • ½ cup of green beans or edamame,
  • 200 ml of coconut milk (optional for a milder sauce),
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut or peanut oil,
  • fresh coriander and lime for serving (optional),
  • a pinch of salt and pepper.

If you don't have pea and fava protein chunks on hand, you can conveniently use tofu in brine from the brand Yakso in this recipe.

It is ready for quick use, just slice and add to the pan. The result will be a soft texture and great taste – ideal for vegetarian and vegan cooking.

Instructions

  • Soak the protein chunks in lukewarm water for about 30 minutes. Then drain and lightly dry.

  • Sauté the onion and garlic, then add the bell pepper, zucchini or broccoli, and beans. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes to keep the vegetables slightly crunchy.
  • Add the drained protein chunks and briefly fry to heat through and absorb the flavor of the vegetables.
  • Pour in a jar of Yakso Thai curry sauce and add coconut milk to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce the temperature.
