About the brand

Mushrooms For Life was originally founded in 2011 by well-known naturopath and author Martin Powell with the goal of making the best mushroom supplements widely available and accessible.

Martin, who is fluent in Mandarin, spent many years in China working with experienced local growers to ensure Mushrooms For Life sourced the highest quality ingredients; this is still the brand's focus today.

In 2017 Martin entrusted Mushrooms For Life to his colleagues and experienced mushroom educators Graham Botfield and Ben Shouler, who continue his work to this day.

We source only the highest quality organically grown mushrooms from our growers in China. The use of medicinal mushrooms has been a cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine and this practice dates back thousands of years.
