During propolis collection using standard methods, we do not harm the bees. BEE&YOU never collects propolis directly from inside the hive, as bees need it to protect the hive and produce various products. Instead, we use propolis traps made of food-grade plastic with small holes. These traps are strategically placed under the inner cover of the hive. As the bees work to seal the hive, they fill the traps with propolis. Once the trap is full, it is carefully removed from the hive.
